near to Osmington Mills, Dorset, Great Britain

Beach to the east of Osmington Mills
The rounded nodules on the beach are of calcite-cemented sandstone and come from the Bencliff Grit Formation which is found at the base of the cliffs. The ledges exposed by the low tide are of Osmington Oolite. This view is from a point on the beach close to the cascade.
