Roseisle Distillery
This distillery was built during 2008 and first started production in January 2009. The maltings pictured in the other photos in this grid square are beyond and to the left of this building. The wooden sided area houses the stills (7 low wines stills and 7 spirit stills) along with the spirit receivers. There is an enormouse door at this end of the building (just out of show) which allows machinery into the still house for any maintenance etc required. When fully on stream, the distillery power plant will work so that at least 70% of the distillery's energy requirements will be generated on-site from its own waste.
