This is the bottom lock of the flight of fifteen over about two miles. The water level is raised by 93 feet (about 28 metres). An energetic boat crew experiencing no delays can do the job in under two hours, but around two and a half is more realistic. This can extend to four hours and even more during busy times. The middle of the lock is crossed by the map gridline.
