Ellerkin Scar - eastern end
At its eastern end, Ellerkin Scar begins to fade out, leaving just small outcrops of limestone with scree slopes below. The top of the scar is springy limestone pasture, but this extends only 300m or so back from the edge before peat and heather covered sandstones take over, with the sandstone scar of Greets Edge some 400m to the north.
