Looks like the hillside has been washed away in a couple of points in the narrow ravine that the Kintradwell burn runs through.
Just after I took this picture a land rover pulled up with a couple of local country chaps inside. They asked what I was up to, and I said "taking pictures of things of interest". Why do you want to take a picture of a river was their next question.. I thought explaining geograph to them might take a while... so just said we don't see this sort of thing much in Edinburgh.
