Eastington Manor
Eastington Manor
Bizarrely situated right up against the Chevron oil refinery, but facing away from the sinister looming dome behind, is this impressive collection of old buildings, parts of which, on the seaward side - a fortified tower house with hall, vaulted undercroft and external staircase - are thought to date back to the C15 or even earlier. Added later was the long mid-C18 farmhouse with its many outbuildings.
