Fallen pillbox at Redend Point
This cylindrical pillbox from the early days of the Second World War has fallen, on its plinth, onto the beach to the south of Redend Point. The sandstone rocks are stained red with iron oxides. Around the headland you can see the facilities of Studland's Middle Beach.
