Morningside Station
Taken from the footbridge over the old disused Morningside station, the Union Of South Africa runs a Special round the "suburban Lines"
The suburban line is only used for freight now after being closed in the 60`s. Although there is and has been for some time talk of reopening the line and stations. Steam excursions have to use this route heading into Edinburgh when coming from the North or West due to the overhead electric lines in the Haymarket tunnels.
