The Trans Pennine Trail along the former Godley to Apethorn railway line near Knott Fold. The metalled path is for walkers and cyclists. On the left (hidden by nettlebeds) is a gravel track for horseriders. Past the bridge the track changes sides and the sign in the centre of the photo SJ9493 : Notice for Horseriders is a notice for horseriders.
