SE0361 : Upland pastures, summer evening
near to Burnsall, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Upland pastures, summer evening
Hillside pasture above Burnsall, looking across the dale towards Burnsall Fell, where the low sunlight picks out the uneven ground on the steep northern slopes of the fellside. This appears to be an example of unstable slopes created at the end of the last ice age resulting in several minor landslips in the 12000 or so years since.
