Substantial provision has been made to carry the bridleway from Lawford Heath to Cawston over the new Rugby Western Relief Road; this luxury is short-lived, however, as anyone attempting to follow the bridleway has next to negotiate the hopelessly overgrown, and much older, bridge over the former Rugby - Leamington railway.
