St Oswald's Way at Kirkwhelpington

St Oswald's Way Link is a 156 Km long trail which runs from Heavenfield near Hexham to Holy Island on the Northumberland coast (although more commonly walked in the opposite direction). At this point it leaves Kirkwhelpington to the north along the old main road. The fact that the path is almost completely overgrown in mid-June suggests that the Way is not walked very often.
