This is taken from the Newtons Lane car park by the Nottingham Canal looking from Nottinghamshire into Derbyshire. The county boundary follows the River Erewash and you can see the road rising up to cross Newtons Bridge over the river to the left of the photograph. All the land beyond this is in Derbyshire.
The white house on the extreme right is Bridge Farm.
