Junction of Delamere Street and Upper Northgate Street
Looking across Upper Northgate Street to Delamere Street. The two cranes are on the redevelopment site that was once the bus station. Below ground level a large amount of sandstone has been excavated out of the bedrock, presumably to provide underground parking for the development. Development has been ongoing for some time but now the steel frame has been constructed up to ground level so soon the structure will start to appear out of the ground.
