The top two of a dead straight row of seven buildings, marked on the 1:25k OS map, that have been exposed to view for the first time in decades by felling in the Waternish Forest. They are believed to have been built in the mid 19th century to resettle the inhabitants cleared from the nearby Ascrib Islands ng3063 Link
