View from the Northgate
The view from the Northgate with Upper Northgate Street below on the left. In the distance on the left (by the red tourist bus) a site is being re-developed, and on the right the two cranes indicate where a another big development will almost certainly rise above the older properties. It will be interesting to see how this view changes over the next few years. The gap between the Northgate and the tall brick building indicates where the Shropshire Union canal flows in a cutting far below.
