Compare with NZ0516 : Old style filling station, Galgate - Barnard Castle: apparently the town was not big enough for both these small filling stations to survive. This one was on the corner of King Street. The left-hand corner of the building appears in NZ0516 : King Street (junction with Galgate) stone wall sign.
