SO2739 : A lovely showing of foxgloves
4 km from The Bage, Herefordshire, Great Britain

A lovely showing of foxgloves
A plantation here was clear felled and replanted with spruce. The foxglove seeds in the ground had the right conditions for germination and I expect they will grow here every year until trees or other plants overshadow them.
It's pleasing to notice the deciduous trees which invaded the plantation edges have been left standing.
