Robin's Hut

A new legend has been created for the Kielder Water and Forest Park (very new, as Kielder Water only came into being in the early 1980s). Freya, who was very much into flowers and lived on the south shore spied Robin, an eco-friendly guy who lived in a hut on the opposite shore. To entice him over, she wove a cabin out of flowers, but unfortunately, Robin had the sun in his eyes and was unable to see the cabin intended for him. On a more mundane note, the hut was designed by Studioweave and built in early 2009 on the Lakeside Way on the tip of a promontory on the north shore. The hut is very plain, unlike the fanciful cabin built by Freya NY6687 : Freya's Cabin.
