Almshouses
Modern Thorpeness was conceived by Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie in the early 20th century as a private holiday village. These are the almshouses built in the 1920s to a design of William Gilmour Wilson as accommodation for the estate staff. They are grade II listed - for listing particulars see LinkExternal link.
