Waddesdon Manor
This is the rear façade of the main building of the manor looking across the fountain in the middle of the parterre garden. When Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild selected this location for his chateau the elevated land was known as Lodgehill, and the 1885 Edition of the Ordnance Survey mapping gives that name to the building which was at that time still under construction.
