Kemble Air Show, 2009
The air show is an annual show focused mainly on classic aircraft. Because many such planes have a military connection inevitably the majority of the aeroplanes to be seen have that background. In this view an Air Cadet band is marching towards a static display. Visible is a Vickers VC10 (the grey one with a high tail) and the tailplane of a Lockheed C130. Both are still in service with the Royal Air Force. The event is very much a family occasion with fairground rides and other amusements for children.
