Sea of Bracken
Sea of Bracken
The undulations in this bracken-covered slope show where the fortifications of an ancient site lie. I could detect a circular pattern of ramparts and ditches that would have protected livestock in times of peril. The layout would be more visible in the winter when the bracken had died down.
