I was looking for the "Hen Caerau" marked on the map but I could not find the ancient site. Instead I photographed this coiled wire electric gate, part of an electric fence system that divided a large field into 4 grazing paddocks. The gate could be unhooked from one post and reattached to another. In the distance, the village of Capel Iwan can be seen.
