SZ7799 : Sea defences north of Roman Landing
near to West Wittering, West Sussex, Great Britain

Sea defences north of Roman Landing
The defence consists of gabions filled with broken paving stones, set in the intertidal region, with white rocks above. The need for this defence is apparent from the erosion in the foreground which has rendered the footpath impassable. A permissive path has been created further inland.
