SZ7799 : Old and new paths at Ella Nore
near to West Wittering, West Sussex, Great Britain

Old and new paths at Ella Nore
The public footpath (right) runs south from the base of Ella Nore spit, but not for long because it has become impassable due to overgrowth of the scrub and sea erosion of the bank. A new permissive path (left) was created in February 2002 by Chichester Harbour Conservancy, according to a notice in the nearby hut.
