SJ3165 : Cut bench mark and bolt on St Deiniol's church
near to Hawarden, Flintshire/Sir y Fflint, Great Britain

Cut bench mark and bolt on St Deiniol's church
This is a classic 1GL cut bench mark and bolt on the south face of St Deiniol's church. The mark was used in the First primary levelling, England and Wales 1840-1860. Although some of the church stonework is crumbling this mark is in good condition. Note the unattributed initials 'TB' to the left of the cut mark. The mark is out of sight behind a large shrub but is still easily accessible.
