This picturesque mediaeval church is in the care of The Friends of Friendless Churches (although its charm is such that it must attract many friends.) As a result of being replaced by a new church on higher ground in the late C19 the old church avoided Victorian restoration and, despite abandonment and near ruination during the first half of the C20, it has been preserved in its original simple style.
