This is a reverse view to Barry's TL1907 : Alban Way, the old Smallford Station platform. the description of which gives the history of the station. It supported a single siding with a cattle pen, but from the time it was opened right up to the 1930s and the arrival of the nurseries it was an isolated location with no houses nearby.
