Beyond the emerging crop and hidden in the trees the Afon Teifi winds its way west towards Llechryd. The distant houses stand along the A482 on the other side of the river.
The minor road, left, follows the course of a canal constructed, parallel to the river in the late C18, to supply water to a shortlived tinplate works near here.
