The Swan Pool, Priory Park, Great Malvern
An early morning photo of the pool.
This was originally the fish pond for the Priory.
It became an ornamental feature in the private gardens of a large house then became a public park.
I remember small boats available for hire here in the early 1970s.
The Scouts organised a "Bathtub Marathon" here around 1974 or 1975 and managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records.
These days it is kept as a wildlife sanctuary/ ornamental pool.
