The first red building on the left is the entrance to Wetherells joinery and upholstery department and where the Abbey monastery well is situated. The Abbots house was also situated where Wetherells shop is. Recently the foundations to the Abbey Monastery entrance were unearthed during Selby Town centre modernisation. I took a photograph of the foundations which I will submit.
