SJ5755 : Bullring?
near to Haughton Moss, Cheshire, Great Britain

Bullring?
I think this may be an old double bull-ring. These were used for the barbaric sport of bull-baiting, in which tethered bulls were set upon by dogs. This practice was made illegal by the Cruelty to Animals Act of 1835. This is on the footpath between Capper's Lane and Haughton Moss.
