Looking south from the tip of the Crow Park peninsula. Below Castlerigg Fell on the left, the wooded area is Derwent Isle. The small wooded island on the right is St Herbert's Island. Between the two on the far bank is the lower ridge of Ashness Fell and Surprise View, from which NY2619 : Derwent Water from the Watendlath road, captures this picture in reverse.
