Cleits at Cleats Shore
These dykes are know on Arran as 'cleits' or 'cleats' (igneous dykes from earlier volcanic times). I think Cleats Shore used to be an accepted nudist bathing beach. The low outline of the Mull of Kintyre is just visible in the distance across Kilbrannan Sound. This photo taken just an hour or so after low tide.
