SO8119 : Tidal surge, River Severn, Over
near to Maisemore, Gloucestershire, Great Britain

Tidal surge, River Severn, Over
Around 13.30, there was a sudden surge of water as the tide came rushing upstream carrying logs, sacks, plastic bottles and at one point, a large gas canister. The river is tidal as far as Maisemore Weir.
Viewed from the terrace of the Wharf Restaurant; a good place to watch the Severn Bore, apparently.
