Capel Garmon Burial Chamber
Capel Garmon Burial Chamber
A neolithic chambered tomb near the village from which it takes it name. The tomb dates from 3rd millennium BC and is similar in form to tombs of the Cotswold -Severn type, mainly concentrated around the Cotswolds. Like many other tombs of this type, the mound or cairn has been removed. Only one of the capstones remains. LinkExternal link LinkExternal link
