Western chamber, Capel Garmon Burial Chamber
Western chamber, Capel Garmon Burial Chamber
A neolithic chambered tomb near the village from which it takes it name. The tomb dates from 3rd millennium BC and is similar in form to tombs of the Cotswold-Severn type, mainly concentrated around the Cotswolds. This is the western chamber with the sole remaining capstone in place. LinkExternal link LinkExternal link
