SU4909 : Public Hard beside Bursledon Bridge

near to Lower Swanwick, Hampshire, Great Britain

Public Hard beside Bursledon Bridge
Public Hard beside Bursledon Bridge
On the north side of the A27 Bridge Road. A sign says "public hard". However, my understanding of a hard is that is hard sloping ground going into the water, and thus suitable for launching a boat. You won't find that here as there is a concrete wall giving several feet drop to the mud at left.
