NH0810 : The old A87
near to Loch Cluanie [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

The old A87
Looking north-west across Loch Cluanie to the snow-dusted cone of Am Bathach and its angular plantation. This used to be the route of the A87 before the improved route was built on the other side of the loch. Now only used for access to the lodge and shooting grounds. Couldn't quite see Skye-bound traffic making it along here these days.
