Rubh' an Eun Lighthouse
Fantastic place to be - You would hardly believe it, but Glencallum Bay used to be a hive of activity. Today, all that remains immediately visible are the Rubh’ an Eun beacon, and set back from the bay, the ruins of an inn, complete with walled garden at NS 11037 52822

Herdsmen would bring their livestock down the drove road, and load them on to boats that took them to Largs. Tugs would sit in the bay waiting on becalmed clippers, and race to be first to throw a line and earn the towing dues to take the clipper up the Clyde to dock.
