Handing over the token, Levisham Station
The maroon carriage is the last carriage of the steam train heading from Grosmont to Pickering, and the green diesel has just travelled along the single track line from Pickering, and is headed for Grosmont as per the destination board (which can be trusted). Before the steam train can enter the single track section, the driver must have the token which is being carried across by the diesel engine driver in the high visibility jacket in the photograph.
