The hedge right at the bottom is in 'ST6365'.
Near the centre of the frame and a little to the right a short stretch of dual carriageway appears, this is part of the Great Bristol Bypass. It started at Filton on the A38, got as far as the A4 west of Keynsham then came to a sad end.
I know about the economic climate and all that but it should be as far as Whitchurch at least by now, anybody would think Napoleon was at it again.
But enough of that, in the foreground the land falls away to Charlton Bottom and Stockwood Vale, a pretty bit of south Bristol which few seem to visit. Part of Hanham is in the distance to the left.
