taken 13 years ago, near to Upton Pyne, Devon, Great Britain

River Exe at Stafford Bridge
River Exe at Stafford Bridge
Taken looking NW from the outside of a meander, hence the bank washing away. The river, flowing away from the camera, bends right to pass under Stafford Bridge (seen behind on the right), which carries the main London-Penzance railway line. See SX9296 : Footpath by the Exe. 8:15 am.
