NM9986 : Ridge to Gulvain summit
5 km from Strathan, Highland, Great Britain

Ridge to Gulvain summit
This ridge from the south top (which has the trig point) leads to the slightly higher summit. In mist you would never know it was there, especially as the summit lies on the next OS sheet.
When I walked along to the north top, I met a man who was doing the hill for the second time, having missed the true summit for the above reason the first time. He also claimed not to be a Munro-bagger!
This also shows how it is possible to have a Highland heatwave in April.
