The Belfast Banking Company Limited (trading as The Belfast Bank) was founded in 1824 and traded until acquired by the Northern Bank J3373 : Head office, Northern Bank, Belfast in 1970. This sign, on its former branch at the old Assembly Rooms J3374 : The Exchange and Assembly Rooms, is one of the few tangible reminders of its existence.
