A view over the Dry Dock 1 at Clarendon Dock in Belfast, the oldest dry dock in the city (built 1800) and still in working order. This is a view across the empty dock - compare with J3475 : Dry Dock 1, Clarendon Dock, Belfast.
The buildings on the right were originally workshops with a dwelling for the Dock Master as the western end. Designed by Scottish engineer David Logan they were completed in 1826 along with the adjacent second dry dock.
