This is the water powered flour sieve in Muncaster Mill (with the side opened up.
Flour is poured into the hopper on the floor above which is then fed inside this mechanism. White flour comes out on the left (finest sieve), followed by brown flour, semolina, and the bran drops out of a chute on right side.
