East Lothian Lime Kiln
East Lothian Lime Kiln
This lime kiln, near Phantassie and East Linton, would have been built in the eighteenth century to provide lime for agricultural and construction purposes. It is one of many similar kilns in East Lothian, all of which fell into disuse during the twentieth century.
