SD8364 : Trig Pillar, Warrendale Knotts

taken 13 years ago, near to Langcliffe, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Trig Pillar, Warrendale Knotts
Trig Pillar, Warrendale Knotts
Situated to the west of Attermire Scar at 440 metres above sea level. The pillar (known as "Langcliffe" by Trigpointing UK) is partly buried within a collapsed stone shelter. Locating it makes for a pleasant, if strenuous, deviation from the footpath and the views from the top are stunning. View SW over the Ribble Valley.
